The work
behind the steel.

A two-way steel relationship is only as good as the parts of the transaction it can hold together. We built One Operations around six — from raw material finance at origin to steel offtake at the mill.

A cargo can be priced correctly and still fail on credit, documentation, freight or risk. Our model keeps those disciplines on the same desk, in the same conversation, with the same objective: raw material into the mill and steel back out, as agreed.

01
Trade finance / payment structure

Financing

Raw material supply runs on working capital. We structure the finance around the mill relationship.

We maintain stable banking relationships in the U.S. and Europe and use them to support the two-way flow: financing raw material cargoes into partner mills, then structuring payment against the steel we take out.

Letters of credit, receivables protection and payment terms are built around the mill’s production cycle — not bolted on after the price is agreed.

  • Working capital for raw material supply
  • Letter of credit structuring
  • Receivables & trade credit protection
  • Payment terms tied to steel offtake
Finance is what turns a raw material supplier into a mill partner.
02
Raw material supply / steel offtake

Exclusive sales

For mills that want a partner on both sides of the furnace.

We hold long-term agreements with mills in China, Malaysia and wider Asia. We supply raw materials and working capital; they supply finished steel that we take as offtake.

The result is a stable book in both directions: the mill can plan input and output, and customers can plan around a supply line that is already financed and shipped.

  • Long-term raw material supply
  • Finished steel offtake
  • Supply assurance for buyers
  • Integrated freight, finance and insurance
A stable book is worth more than a sharp one-off price.
03
Origination / end users

Market development

Finding the right end of the chain is the work.

We connect raw material origins in the Americas with mills in Asia, and connect those mills with steel buyers. Our team introduces both sides, secures orders, oversees delivery, resolves claims and follows payment through.

The objective is not a one-off cargo. It is a durable position in both directions, built order by order.

  • Raw material origin mapping
  • Steel buyer development
  • Order and delivery oversight
  • Claims and payment follow-up
A market is not a destination. It is a relationship with a schedule.
04
Cargo / credit risk

Insurance

Cover that follows the cargo.

We arrange comprehensive cargo and trade credit insurance across the transaction. Cargo cover follows the goods through loading, transit and discharge; credit cover protects receivables and allows more flexible payment terms.

Risk is reviewed before the cargo moves, not after a loss.

  • Cargo insurance, loading to discharge
  • Trade credit insurance
  • Transaction risk review
  • Claims coordination
The best claim is the one the structure prevented.
05
Sourcing / quality / documents

Supply chain management

The right origin is a commercial decision.

When an order is placed, we decide where the raw material should come from, which mill should receive it and how the steel should flow back. We verify quality and terms, and coordinate the documents that keep both legs moving.

High quality, tailored payment terms and the best available price are not separate conversations. They are the same decision.

  • Raw material origin selection
  • Mill qualification and quality alignment
  • Commercial terms and documentation
  • Order follow-up through production
The cheapest quote is not the lowest cost if the cargo does not fit.
06
Freight / ports / inland

Logistics optimization

A route is a risk decision.

We organize inspection, cargo handling, loading, ocean freight by breakbulk or container, and inland distribution between the Americas and Asia. We know which ports keep a raw material cargo moving and which routes protect the steel on the way back.

The role of logistics is not only to move goods. It is to protect the schedule and remove avoidable cost without handing the risk to the customer.

  • Pre-shipment inspection
  • Breakbulk and container shipping
  • Port handling, storage and documentation
  • Inland distribution at origin and destination
The shortest route is not always the one that delivers on time.

One file.
Five checkpoints.

Every order follows the same sequence, whether the cargo is raw material going in or steel coming out. The team that opens the file owns it through each checkpoint.
